About Amanda Lyda, MPS

Amanda Lyda is a public relations and communications professional. Her career started in 2013 as a marketing communications intern for a security company in Lancaster, Pa. Since then, Amanda has worked with a number of non-profit organizations creating communications plans to help bring awareness to their cause, increase donors and amplify their voices.
Amanda graduated from Millersville University with a bachelor’s degree in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations. After a few years of working in the healthcare field, she enrolled in Georgetown University’s School of Continuing Studies to pursue a master’s degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communications.
Currently, she is the director of marketing communications for a private school in Lancaster, Pa. Her goals include bringing more awareness to human trafficking and providing alternative resources for survivors. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, meditating and practicing yoga. Amanda Lyda lives in Mountville, Pa with her beloved Pomeranian Chihuahua, Mila.
